About the company
And its employees, the Do-overs.
Vision
We’d like to answer one question practically:
“How many of the world’s problems can be solved by each of us becoming better people, individually?”
Sam Harris, Waking Up
Let’s Try Again Productions provides suggestions to “becoming better” which we personally try to live by. We hope this helps anyone figure out their own answers. Ideally, by then we’ll more accurately know how many of the world’s problems can be solved. Maybe we can all live well together.
The Do-overs
“Who are you to tell anyone how to become better?”
Nobody. We’re do-overs, we didn’t get it right the first time, so we have to try again. Everything we say is not a prescription or even advice for anyone, we’re not qualified to give any. We’re just regular people who have failed and made avoidable mistakes. And like everyone else, we might have learnt from it, or we might not.
So if our friend can’t learn what to do from our answers, maybe they could learn what not to.
Creative Director / Producer
Phil Ossefie
As captain of the Do-overs, Phil is the main contributor of ideas for living well that could be universalised, i.e. his job is make it work for as many people as possible, no matter who they are.
Video Editor / Staff Writer
Pierce Ng
Pierce is the resident 10th man (or 3rd in this case) of LTAP, i.e. devil’s advocate. Every time Phil and Todd agree on something idealistic, it’s usually Pierce who’s right there to oppose it.
Production Assistant / Content Writer
Todd Ler
Todd just does whatever he likes… because he tends to like more things than he dislikes.
Company rules / How to Do-over
- We do what we should, not what we want.
- We know what to do deep down inside.
- We do it as many times as it takes, no more no less.
- We are what we offer.
- We are owed only human rights.
- We can control only ourselves.
- We seek to appreciate value and in value.
Live well.
